Wyre Forest CAMRA 2025 Spring Trip Options

Nominations are open for destinations for our 205 Spring Trip. Below are the suggested destinations so far. Members are encouraged to research these pubs and tourist attractions further before our branch meeting decides in October 2024. Breweries listed have tap rooms. For a comparison of accommodation costs, it’s for Premier Inn, double room, advance booking, 2 nights: (a)27th-29th March, (b)17th-19th April, (c)15th-17th May, 2025.

1. Buxton & Macclesfield

Pub Highlights: Buxton has 5 GBG pubs, including a Titanic-owned one and a Buxton Brewery tap house. In Macclesfield, also 5 GBG pubs including the RedWillow brewery tap.
Breweries: Buxton, Thornbridge (Bakewell), Beartown (Congleton).
Tourist Attractions: Buxton -- Poole’s Cavern & Buxton Country Park, Buxton Opera House, Solomon’s Temple (tower) and countryside walks. Macclesfield – Silk Museum. Accommodation: £128, £192, £162

2. Cardiff

7. Sheffield
