Micropub conveniently situated between the station and the town centre, it has a reputation for excellent quality interesting beers and ciders drawn straight from the cask. The single room has a mixture of barrel furniture, seats and high tables, with plenty of conversation and banter around the room. Customers may bring their own food. Table service is the norm as beers are served to order and brought from the cool room. A chalk board shows up to six real ales sourced from around the country, usually including a dark, and craft beers. Up to four ciders and two perries, an interesting selection of bottled continental and foreign beers, quality wines and soft drinks ensure there's something for everyone. Local CAMRA Gold Cider Pub of the Year 2019 and 2020 for its interesting and varied selection of real ciders without additives or concentrates.
