Bewdley Brewery TapBewdley Craft Centre, Lax Lane
See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Bewdley Brewery was established in 2008 in a Victorian school building and produces a range of six regular cask ales and a greater number of bottled beers, many for the Severn Valley Railway. The spacious tap room is found to the rear of the building and is adorned with old railway and breweriana items that set a comfortable historical atmosphere. Five of the brewery's cask ales are dispensed through half-pint pulls giving each pint a clearer dispense from the cask, and the full range of bottled beers are available. They are also available to take out. The bar is open on Thursdays later in the afternoon, Fridays and Saturdays from noon until 9, and Sunday afternoons plus Bank Holiday Mondays all year (12-9). Street food on Easter Saturday and fortnightly on Saturdays through the summer until late September. Cycles can be left in the yard in view from the bar. Lock cycles together.
