See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

This welcoming pub serves regular beers from Black Country Ales and six changing ales, usually from independent breweries, and up to two real ciders. Good value cobs, pork pies and scotch eggs are available at any time of day. Buffet sandwiches can be provided, upon request in advance, for visiting groups. A single bar serves a spacious split-level lounge with two side snugs, and the comfortable upstairs function room has a dartboard and Sky sports. The long, air-conditioned lounge extends into what was once the cottage next door, and retains its original fireplace. Fortnightly Thursday jam sessions attract a regular group of musicians, and on On Wednesdays there's a cheese night and every other Tuesday evening there's a charity quiz. The extensive beer garden at the back is accessible from upstairs and is a pleasant sun-trap in summer. It was award the local CAMRA Summer Garden award in 2023 and Silver Pub of the Year in 2024. Cycles can be locked up behind the gate to the right, ask at the bar for access. They can also locked to the railings at the front, if there's space.
