The pub is a traditional village free house, situated in the heart of the village on the cross roads, with a public bar, pool room and lounge plus restaurant with a small beer garden for hotter lazy days. The beamed interior has a central serving area and log fires in the winter. The public bar has a pool table and dartboard. The lounge bar is quieter and has a raised dining area where meals made from a range of local produce is offered. Food is served in the evening except Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, and Sunday lunches are also available. Walkers, children and dogs are all welcome in the bar. Level access from the side to all areas except the raised dining area. No adapted WCs.
