The George Hotel is one of the beautiful black and white buildings that adorn the small riverside town of Bewdley. It originated as a Merchant's House c1608 and was remodelled in the mid eighteenth century. Part of the Wetherspoon chain, it opens at 7am every day with seven ales on at any one time, including some changing session beers and the occasional dark ale. On Mondays beers are on offer all day. Beers from local breweries are sometimes available, as well as the usual suspects.
