See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Riverside village pub, at the end of a private lane, that was once a cider house and has been a pub since 1814. It has been modernised and completely refurbished in 2018. The ramped access leads up to a beer terrace overlooking the river Severn and inside there are two rooms. The bar to the left, with a log burner, for conversation and bar meals, and to the right an extensive lounge and dining area with a central feature stove. Dogs are welcome in the bar. Meals are available lunchtimes and evenings all week and in summer it's pleasant to relax on the front terrace or in the riverside garden watching the river and boats go by. Visiting boats can tie up at the landing stage. Steak nights on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Three beers are on the bar from local and national breweries.
