Decorated in a railway theme, the pub is conveniently located within a few minutes walk of the Severn Valley Railway station. From the station follow the road below the signal box, under the viaduct and through a short alley. To the rear is a customer car park and a terrace that catches the sun in summer. Inside is a mezzanine from which to admire fine glazed decorative tiles on the walls above the single lounge bar. Pub snack food includes cobs and delicious local pork pies that chime perfectly with the concept of a traditional pub. With no piped music, no TV and no gaming machines, just plain rustic furniture and open fires, it's a pub for conversation. On the bar there are five real ales including the house beer 2857 from Bewdley, Morland, often Ludlow or Three Tuns and also two Weston's ciders on hand pump. Level access from the car park to the lounge and bar staff assist with orders at the bar.
