See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

An attractive 17th century pub set in a pretty village conservation area, completely refurbished on 2020. There is ample parking next to the pub across the stream bridge, a colourful rear garden and stream-side terrace. Bar and restaurant meals are available all week with roasts on Sundays (see the meal times). Most of the veg is sourced locally. There is a dog-friendly rear dining room and also a covered and heated dining and drinking area at rear of pub. On Tuesdays all cask ales are reduced. The upstairs games room has three dart boards and some comfy sofas. An ice cream van visits during the summer Monday to Friday 3-4pm and all day at weekends (updated June 2023). Lockable cycle parking is available over the bridge in the car park, with adjacent picnic benches.
