This popular and friendly community pub is not far from both the main line and Severn Valley Railway stations, a short walk up the hill, over the railway bridge and in the first side street on the right. Two rooms are served from a central bar and there is a large beer garden at the rear. It has a reputation for excellent home-cooked food sourced from local suppliers available during the day, and traditional roast dinners on Sundays. Quiz night is on the first Thursdays and there is also a resident football team. It has won local CAMRA awards for its friendly community atmosphere.
