Canal-side pub 10 minutes walk along the towpath from the town and near to the old railway line country path. A central bar serves a snug, and the main lounge has three distinct areas. The room facing the bar was originally stables. In summer it's pleasant to walk or cycle there to have a well deserved pint sitting in the shade of wisteria by the canal. It has one of the very few remaining bowling greens in the area. Three beers from local breweries include Wye Valley HPA and Hobsons Town Crier. Cobs are available on Fridays and Saturdays. Cycles can be secured to the canal-side fence. Ramped access from the car park and mobile ramp by request into the main lounge bar. Stepped access to WCs (not adapted).
